Wedding World Haiti Relief Promotions

*Update* The wedding world is all a twitter...other event pros are hopping on the bandwagon that Rebecca started. I'll be updating lists of Wedding Haiti Promos as they come in. We will all circle back on February 1st to see how much the wedding industry was able to contribute!!

Casa Ybel Resort on my beautiful hometown island is offering $50 towards relief for all weddings booked by February 1st. See the promo
HERE.

Bridal Bar Atlanta owner Rebecca (who started this whole chain) will donate $20 to the Haiti Relief fund for every bride that stops in over the weekend. Additionally, any bride who books this weekend with a Bridal Bar vendor she will donate $20.

TOAST will donate $50 in your name to the Red Cross for everyone who sets up a consultation with us from now until the end of January, and will double it if you contract with us. ($100 raised as of 1/18/10)

Elly B Events will donate proceeds from all services for the rest of the year when booked!

Melissa Schollaert Photography will donate $50 to anyone who books a wedding by February 28

Turner Photography and Design Gift Card Friday, the day gift cards are normally 20% off. In addition, 50% of the sales will be donated to relief efforts in Haiti through FBC Jonesboro. 100% of any donations through FBCJ go directly to Haiti, with no admin costs. More...

To clarify: this is NOT about profiting from a tragedy.

Social media has made it so easy to communicate to the masses and several industry professionals felt compelled to help spread the word. Many wedding industry professionals have families affected by the Haiti Earthquake and any money we can raise to support the relief effort to our ultimate goal. TOAST has personally donated to the Red Cross and will continue to regardless of the promotion. If you choose to donate privately, we encourage you to visit any of the websites below.

features a myriad of ways you can donate via text message, instant messenger, phone, web, mail, mutual funds...you name it!
